Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Nazko Valley's Code of Conduct is to promote and maintain a safe, secure and caring school that encourages meaningful learning and positive social responsibility for all students. At Nazko School, we believe that the most effective discipline is self-discipline. We believe that this is best achieved by teaching children to be kind and caring with a positive self-image. We believe in teaching children to be thoughtful and considerate of others and to accept responsibility for their behaviours. We believe that the consequences for inappropriate or unacceptable behaviours should be restorative through a process of restitution rather than punitive.
